Engine 282 and Special Unit 283 responded to a Working Dwelling Fire in the 400 block of Old Home Road at 9:37 p.m. on March 22nd.

Upon arrival Rosedale VFC. personnel assisted E-16 (Golden Ring) by stretching a second attack line to the interior of the dwelling while E-16 knocked down fire in the rear of the structure. Fire Department personnel were challenged by heavy fire conditions and downed,energized electrical wires in the rear yard. Crews from Fullerton, Essex and Parkville assisted with extinguishment efforts. Fireground operations were completed after four (4) hours on scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation
