On 6/4 at 01:48 hrs. E-282 responded on a Working Fire at the "Islander Inn" in Edgemere. Rosedale personnel assisted with establishing a much needed water supply for the two alarm blaze. E-16 from the Golden Ring Station and E-282 from Rosedale, whose stations are located approximately one mile apart, traveled fourteen miles and ended up within 50' of each other drafting water from the Chesapeake Bay to assist with extinguishing the large fire. Drafting operations are an uncommon occurrence for these units who primarily come from areas with fire hydrants.
