On Tuesday, August 1st
Rosedale VFC visited the Rosedale community in support of National Night
Out. The goals of National night out are to: heighten crime and
drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in,
local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and
police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals that
neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Traditionally,
neighborhoods celebrate National Night Out with block parties, cookouts,
parades, flashlight walks, and visits from local emergency service
organizations. This years program was another great success for
the Rosedale community.
