Units from the Rosedale Volunteer Fire Company were in service on the second multi-alarm fire in as many days this weekend.  3 alarms of equipment responded to Mittal Steel at Sparrows Point, MD where product conveyor belts were on fire.  Rosedale's crew made entry with a handline into a multi-story tower leading to the conveyor system and fought fire on the second floor.  3 alarms were needed due to the inherent dangers with industrial facilities and because fire was spread far through the facility by the conveyors.  After the fire all crews had to be sure to "decon" the loads of Sparrows Point Dust covering their turnout gear.
